John Pfeifer

John Pfeifer was founded in 2026 to carry on the time-honoured tradition of Pfeifer craftsmanship, building and design. The family has built in Ontario since 1865, when nineteen-year-old Frank Pfeifer bought fifty acres in Aldborough Township. A farm, a sawmill, houses, barns, cabinets, furniture and boats followed. More than 160 years on, that same conviction guides a new generation of design: build it properly, and build it to last.

With a holistic approach and a passion for timeless, highly personal spaces, John Pfeifer begins with backyard studio drawing packages: one beautifully proportioned room, drawn for Ontario seasons and honest materials. From there, the work is growing toward private residences, cottages and estates, adding skill and credentials with every project along the way. Whatever the scale, the intention never changes: buildings that belong to their land, and to the people who live with them.
